Father, in the name of the Lord, we do pray. I just want to ask for your direction.
Let me share with you the story of creation from the book of Genesis. We'll look at how God shaped our world with care and purpose.
God began by creating order. He made an expanse between the waters. Think of it as a space that splits the waters above from the waters below. He named this expanse "heaven." This was His work on the second day.
Next, God gathered the waters below into one place. As the waters moved, dry land appeared. He called the dry ground "earth" and the gathered waters "seas." God saw that this was good.
God then turned His attention to filling the earth with life. He made grass sprout from the ground. Plants grew with their own seeds, and trees bore fruit. Each plant and tree made seeds of its own kind. God looked at all the growing things and saw that it was good. This was the third day.
God then set lights in the sky. He made two big ones - a greater light to rule the day and a lesser light for night. He also made the stars. These lights help us mark time - days, seasons, and years. They shine on the earth and split day from night. God saw this too was good. This was the fourth day.
God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
In all these things, we see how carefully God put everything in its place. Each part of creation has its purpose in God's plan.
Let's look at Genesis chapter 2, where God made a special garden. He planted this garden in Eden, in the east. This is where He put the man He had formed.
He made grow out of the ground every tree that was pleasing to look at for that was good for food and also the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and bad.
In this garden, God made trees grow from the ground. These trees were beautiful to look at and good for food. But two trees were extra special. In the middle of the garden, God put:
These two trees had deep meaning. You see, God put them there with a plan. He knew about our spirits before we got our earthly bodies. Our spirits were in heaven first, before coming to earth.
When God blows the breath of life into any of us, we already had his seeds connected to that breath of life.
There's more to this story. In heaven, a war had started between God and Satan. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad gave Adam a choice. God told him not to eat from it. Adam could pick between this tree and the Tree of Life. When Adam chose to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, his choice affected all of us.
This part of Genesis shows us how God gave humans free will. He let Adam choose, even though He knew what might happen. It's a story about choices and their effects on everyone.
And when he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, what he did was sell all of mankind to Satan, which causes all of us to sin.
When Adam ate from the tree, it opened a door. Now, we all have what we call Satan's seeds. This is why God says all people will sin. Satan wanted this to happen. He wanted to have a way to reach all of us.
Satan's plan was to bring harm to people. He wanted to cause:
We all have two angels, a dishonorable angel and also an honorable angel that is with us twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five or six -six days per year, and they must be in place.
Saint Paul talks about this in the book of Romans. He tells us that Satan is always nearby. But here's what's important to know - we each have two angels with us all the time:
There's a big difference between these angels:
The good angels:
The bad angels:
The key is learning to tell these thoughts apart. This skill is called discernment. When we learn to know which thoughts come from which angel, we discover something amazing. We can choose which thoughts to follow.
This battle between good and bad thoughts happens in all of us. But when we learn to spot the difference, we can make better choices.
Once you learn how to discern through your thoughts, who is giving you what thoughts, we have actually tapped into something that is very great, like, it is great.
When we talk about thoughts, it's important to know where they come from. Satan and his demons give us bad thoughts. They want us to do wrong things.
If Satan want us to practice bad, then his demons have to give us thoughts in order for us to practice bad.
Let me share something personal. God hasn't pulled me away from this work. Instead, we're seeing growth. More people are following and listening to these messages. This shows that good things take time to grow.
Remember how Adam's choice affected us all? We needed to be saved through someone who never sinned. Here's why:
Think about arguments with family. These fights don't come from God. Satan gives both sides thoughts that keep them angry. But we can:
God tells us love conquers all. Even when terrible things happen, we can:
Satan wants us to:
But when we learn to spot these tricks, we can choose better thoughts. We can pick love over hate, peace over fighting. This is what makes discernment so powerful - it helps us see the truth and choose what's right.
Forgiveness is one of the greatest spiritual tools that we can have.
When you forgive someone, God forgives you also for how you have trespassed.
At the end of the day, Satan plants seeds in us. He does this to move us to hurt each other. It's simple. But God and the good angels are here to save us from evil. That's their main job. They serve us by always watching out for us. They look for ways to reach us when we're ready to listen.
Think about this - if God and the good angels weren't here giving us good thoughts, we wouldn't be kind to each other. Without the Bible showing us how, who would forgive? Our first thought would be "Forgive who? And why?" Even today, many people say "No way! They'll just hurt me again!"
When you forgive someone, amazing things happen:
When you forgive, God frees your mind from bad thoughts. You can walk around in peace and love. Even if you're not perfect, you're free to live your life without hurting others too much.
Forgiveness does more than you know:
When people hurt us badly, they're often stuck in a pattern. Satan keeps giving them thoughts that make them cause harm. But when we forgive, we help break this cycle. We're not just helping ourselves - we're helping everyone around us.
By doing what God tells us, we make the world better. Even if we can't see all the good it does, our forgiveness and love create positive change that spreads far beyond us.
Let's take a moment to thank God for all He has done. Think about it - He gave us this beautiful earth. He made the living creatures, the sun, the moon, and the stars that light up our sky. He created the deep waters and all the wonders we see.
Yes, Adam chose to give Satan power over us. This choice made us turn away from all the good things God had lovingly made for us. But God didn't leave us alone.
So with that, I would like to, close this in prayer and say thank you, father.
Look at how far we've come! Right now, I can use a computer to talk with people across the world. That's amazing! It shows how God keeps blessing us with new ways to connect and share His message.
We need to remember something important - we only sin because Satan has access to us. Without his influence, we wouldn't sin at all. That's why God sent Jesus to save us. We can't fight Satan alone - we can't even see him coming! But we can learn to spot his work through discernment.
We, mankind, are your gift, lord. And you know what? And you have yet to let us down.
God has never let us down. Even when things get tough, He stands with us. We are His gift, and He keeps showing us His loving kindness. Through all our struggles and challenges, God remains faithful.
Let's be grateful for:
God keeps working for our good. He helps us fight forces we can't see. He gives us the tools we need to live better lives. For all this and more, we give thanks and praise.
