Welcome! Tonight, I want to share some wonderful words from the Lord with you. I'll be talking about Psalms 86, starting with verse 1.
Incline your ear, Father, and answer me, for I am afflicted and poor. Guard my life, for I am loyal. Save your servant who is trusting in you, because you are my God.
This powerful psalm speaks to us about turning to God when we need help. In times of trouble, we can call out to Him all day long. We ask Him to show us favor and make us rejoice.
When we feel down or lost, we can always turn to our Father. He listens when we pray. He pays attention when we ask for help. Even in our hardest times, we can reach out to Him.
The psalm reminds us that God hears us when we're in distress. He is always there, ready to listen and help His servants who trust in Him.
Father, you are good and ready to forgive, abounding in loyal love for all those who call on you.
There is no one like our Father among all gods. His works stand alone. All the nations He made will come to bow before Him. They will give glory to His name.
Why? Because He is great and does amazing things. He alone is God.
I ask Him to teach me His ways. I want to walk in His truth. I pray that my heart stays focused on honoring His name. With my whole heart, I praise God. I will give glory to His name forever.
When we look at our lives today, we can see how we all face hard times. Each of us must turn to God for help. We need to use our faith. When we do, God opens doors. He lets us see how He works in our lives.
Yes, this takes patience. But God is good to all of us. He shows us His love when we call on Him.
I will walk in your truth; unify my heart to fear your name. I praise you, Father, my God, with all my heart and I will glorify your name forever.
God shows His goodness to everyone. As the creator of all things, He keeps everything going. He has a real duty to care for all He has made. That's just who He is.
When we pray, God listens. We ask Him to make our hearts whole, so we can honor Him better. This is beautiful because God knows what's best for us.
In Psalms 84, we find a wonderful truth: "Happy is the one who trusts in God." This is so true! When you start to lean on God's wisdom, your trust grows stronger. He begins to change you from the inside out. You become better at handling life's hard times.
God helps us face the troubles that come our way. As we trust Him more, He makes us stronger. This is what the Book of Psalms teaches us - when we put our faith in God, He helps us grow.
Happy is the man who trusts in you, and it's true—once you start leaning your understanding upon God, your trusting Him will grow and He'll start changing you.
We all need help in this life. That's just how it is. While we help each other, we also need God's help. Why? Because life gets busy. We all have so much going on.
Sometimes we get caught up in our own world. We might forget about things that matter to others. What's important to me might not be important to you. What you care about might not be what I care about.
This is where God steps in. When we're ready to listen and serve Him, He helps us see beyond ourselves. God gives us what we need to help others. He makes the load lighter to carry.
Think about it - God knows what each person needs. When we trust Him, He guides us. He shows us how to care for others in ways that don't wear us down.
That's the beauty of trusting God. He doesn't just help us with our own troubles. He helps us become better at helping others too. When we put our faith in Him, He makes the path clear.
God will give you things to be able to help your fellow man in a way where it's not hard for you to bear.
Life can be hard for many people. Some folks face tough times through no fault of their own. They need extra help from others because they just can't make it alone. And that's nothing to be ashamed of.
We see people hurting everywhere. Some don't have homes. Others struggle to get by. These problems aren't just in one place - they touch lives all over. It shows how far reaching these hardships can be.
When we look around, we see that trouble doesn't play favorites. Rich or poor, young or old - anyone can face hard times. That's why we need to help each other. When God puts it in our hearts to help, He makes the load lighter to carry.
Remember, if something feels too heavy to bear, that's not from God. He never gives us more than we can handle. When the load feels too heavy, that's often life's challenges testing us. But God is there to help. He knows what's happening. He sees what you need.
God wants us to keep trusting Him. He asks us to lean on His wisdom. Even when times are tough, He stays close. He gives us strength to help others while taking care of ourselves.
We're all in this together. When we see someone struggling, God can show us how to help. He makes the burden lighter for everyone. That's how His love works through us to make a difference.
In our daily lives, we face a spiritual battle that many don't fully understand. The Bible tells us that Satan can bring wickedness into our lives. When we don't grasp this spiritual warfare, we can get caught up in life's troubles more easily.
But there's good news! God gave us His Word as our shield. The Bible helps us face these hard times. It gives us answers for every problem we meet. Whether we're dealing with tough thoughts or difficult people, God's Word shows us the way.
The Bible isn't just a book we carry around. Its wisdom becomes part of us when we read it. When thoughts come to our minds, we can tell which ones match God's Word and which don't. This helps us make good choices.
It's not bad to forgive your fellow man. It is not bad to step back and let God be God and you just be mankind.
One of the most powerful things we can do is forgive others. When we step back and let God handle things, we show real wisdom. It's okay to let God be the judge instead of trying to judge others ourselves.
The Lord teaches us that when we stop judging others, He blesses us more. If we try to be the judge, we only hurt ourselves. God wants us to trust Him with these matters. When we do this, we find more peace in our lives.
Remember, God's Word gives us everything we need to face life's challenges. When we follow His guidance and choose forgiveness over judgment, we walk in His blessing.
Satan tries to harm us by keeping our minds stuck in angry thoughts. But we can break free by listening to what God tells us and doing what He says.
I want to share something personal with you. I didn't know God's words until He taught me. I didn't understand what they meant until He explained them to me. It took time, but that's how I got where I am today.
I know for a fact that if He can work with me, He can work with all of us. Just know that God is good regardless of, and even when we fall short of His goodness, His goodness won't.
Father, thank you for being who you are. Your way is truly great to follow. You have taught me to:
I've learned that your path is beautiful. Even when we don't know you exist, you reach out to us. You teach us. You guide us. Your goodness never fails, even when we fall short.
Thank you all for hearing this message. Remember, God's goodness stays strong no matter what. He can work with anyone, just as He worked with me. Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide your path.
