Have you ever wondered how evil can touch our lives? The truth might surprise you.
Satan has a way to get to all of us, and it's legal.
This access isn't just allowed here on Earth. It works in heaven's realm too. The reason behind this goes back to the very start of human history.
Once Adam committed that original sin, he gave Satan access towards all of mankind.
When Adam first sinned in the Garden of Eden, he did more than just disobey God. His choice opened a door. That one act gave Satan legal rights to reach all humans who would come after. This is why no one is free from temptation.
This legal right works on two levels:
Understanding this truth is the first step in knowing how to protect ourselves. It helps us see why we face certain struggles and what we can do about them.
Not only that, from that Satan gets to plant seeds in all of mankind.
Satan's power goes deeper than just having access to us. He plants seeds in every person from the start of their life. The Bible talks about this in the book of Romans.
These seeds stay with us as we grow. Satan uses them to push us in ways we don't want to go. He can move us because these seeds are already inside us.
I'm sure that the homeless man, do not want to be homeless.
Think about the pain we see around us:
No one chooses these hard times. A person fighting drugs didn't want that life. Someone living on the streets didn't plan to be there. These are signs of Satan's seeds growing in people's lives.
The scary part? Satan gets us to water these seeds without us knowing it. These seeds have been with us since we were born. When we don't spot them, they can grow into big problems.
Understanding these seeds is key. When we know they're there, we can stop them from growing. We can fight back against Satan's plans for our lives.
Our minds can get thoughts from both good and bad places. This is a key truth we need to know.
So the first thing that we have to know is that they can give us thoughts.
Both sides can put ideas in our heads:
Why does this happen? It's because God treats everyone the same. He doesn't play favorites. When Adam sinned at the start, it changed things for all of us.
...just know that that demon is right there compelling them and bombarding them with thoughts, so that they remain in the harmful place.
If we don't see how demons work through our thoughts, we can't help ourselves. They use our mind as their playground. But once we know this truth, we can start to fight back.
Remember:
Knowing where our thoughts come from helps us make better choices. We can pick which ones to listen to and which ones to ignore.
When we see someone struggling, there's more going on than meets the eye. A battle is happening in their mind. Demons work hard to keep people stuck in tough spots.
That person that's down and out, just know that that demon is right there compelling them and bombarding them with thoughts to remain in that harmful place.
This isn't making excuses - it's just how things really work. Many of us know this struggle well. We try to stop doing things that hurt us, but it feels impossible.
And it's true, we should be able to stop something that is causing us harm, like, right away.
Have you ever felt frustrated because you couldn't just stop a bad habit? You're not alone. We often think we should be able to quit harmful things right away. But it's not that simple.
Here's the hard truth:
If you utilize Satan's seeds, then Satan can hold you bound until you pay him back everything that you owe him.
When we give in to Satan's seeds, we get stuck in a cycle. It's like being in debt - Satan won't let go until we've paid what we owe. This is why breaking free is harder than just deciding to stop.
But don't lose hope! Understanding how this works is the first step to breaking free. When we know what we're up against, we can fight back better. We can spot demon's tricks and start to break their hold on us.
