After we go through deep hurt, we face another kind of battle. This battle happens in our mind and spirit. Let me share with you how these attacks work.
When someone has hurt us badly, the enemy has a way of keeping those wounds fresh.
Satan will constantly bring you the fellings and the thoughts of what happened to you.
These thoughts aren't random. They have a purpose:
And what that does is this, it pushes you in the area where you remain in the constant state of confusion, a constant state of depression, a constant state of hurt.
Think of it like picking at a scab. Just when healing might start, these thoughts come back. They keep us stuck in pain. They stop us from moving forward. This is how spiritual attacks work after we've been hurt.
The enemy wants us to stay trapped in these bad feelings. He uses our pain to keep us from healing. But knowing this is the first step to breaking free.
When these painful thoughts come, there's a way through them. Let me show you how to find peace and hope again.
The enemy wants to keep your heart hurting. He does this to make you unwilling to forgive. But there's a better path.
Once they pass through you, come to some type of reprieve.
When these hard thoughts come, don't fight them. Just let them flow through you. Like clouds passing in the sky, they will move on. When they do, you'll find moments of peace.
These peaceful moments are precious. They're your chance for healing.
The hope is following those feelings so that you can continue to get reprieve from those thoughts.
Don't chase after the anger and hurt. Instead, hold onto those quiet moments when the pain lifts. That's where you'll find hope.
And this is where God is helping you get through.
God is with you in this journey. He helps you find these moments of peace. He guides you from hurt to healing, one step at a time.
