I want to share a powerful truth I've learned on my spiritual journey. It's about freedom - the kind that changes how we live each day.
I no longer have to be angry.
This is such a simple but life-changing insight. We often think we must match other people's emotions. But that's not true.
I no longer cuz somebody gets mad, I don't have to get mad with them.
When others get upset, we have a choice. We don't need to mirror their anger. This is what real emotional freedom looks like. It's a fresh path that opens up when we trust in God's guidance.
Let me share another key truth about walking in spiritual freedom. It's about how we handle disrespect from others.
If somebody disrespect me, I don't have to feel like I have to disrespect them back.
This is such a powerful choice we can make. When someone treats us badly, we don't need to do the same to them.
You see what I'm saying? I can sit up there. I'll take that blow or whatever.
I can choose to stay calm and not fight back. This isn't about being weak - it's about being strong enough to break the cycle of disrespect. When we respond with grace, we show real spiritual growth.
Let me share something deep about forgiveness. It's not about rushing - it's about doing what feels right for you.
You know, I'll know that you did me wrong, but I can exercise my forgiveness in a way that's comfortable for me.
When someone hurts us, we can take our time to heal. There's no race to forgive.
I don't have to do it right away, but I will be looking to do it.
This is what real forgiveness looks like. We can see the wrong that was done, but we get to choose how and when we forgive. It's a gentle path we walk at our own pace.
Let me share something important about judgment. It's about how our words can have bigger effects than we think.
So, because I don't want Satan to be placing judgment on people because I placed the judgment.
This is key to understand. When we judge others, we open a door that we might not want to open.
So, when we're placing judgment on our fellow man, Satan holds that judgment against that fellow man.
You see, we all have the power to affect others in ways we might not expect. When we judge someone, those words don't just float away. They can stick around and cause harm we never meant to cause.
Think of it like this - every time we judge others, we're giving power to negative forces that can use those words against them. That's why it's so important to be careful with our judgments.
At the heart of spiritual growth lies a profound truth about letting go. When judgment takes hold of our hearts, we need help to break free.
And it takes God to remove that judgment.
Only through divine help can we truly release the judgments we hold against others. This is not something we can do on our own. We need God's grace to heal these deep spiritual wounds.
Think of it as a gentle reminder that we're not meant to carry these heavy burdens alone. When we turn to God, we find the strength to let go of judgment and embrace compassion instead.
This is how we grow in our spiritual walk - one step at a time, hand in hand with divine guidance, learning to release what weighs us down and embrace the freedom that comes with forgiveness.
