Discerning Spiritual Thoughts: Choosing Between God and Satan

June 28, 2025 8 min read

Welcome to my channel! Today, we're going to explore something very important - the thoughts that shape our minds and lives.

First of all all thoughts are given to all of us spiritually that means that every thought that we have was either taught by Satan and the ones who follow him or either taught by God and the ones who follow him.

Let me share a key truth with you: every single thought we have comes from a spiritual source. These thoughts come from one of two places - they either come from God and those who follow Him, or from Satan and his followers.

Think of it this way - we all have two kinds of seeds planted within us. These seeds grow into thoughts that guide our choices. The wonderful thing is that we get to choose which thoughts to follow. We can pick God's path or Satan's path.

This choice matters a lot. When we follow God's way, we open ourselves to His guidance. But there's more to learn about how this works in our daily lives.

Stay with me as we dig deeper into understanding these spiritual influences and how they shape our thoughts.

The Power of Choice: Seeds Within Us

We all have an important choice to make every day. It's about which path we follow in life. Let me share something powerful with you about this choice.

We do have a choice of whom we choose to follow. We can either follow God or we can follow Satan. When we follow God we have more peace and less calamity, more happiness in our lives. When we follow Satan he gives us more calamity, hardship.

When we pick God's path, good things happen. We find more peace. We feel more joy. Life gets better. But when we follow Satan's way, we face more troubles and hard times. His path leads us away from what God teaches us.

Why does God ask us to follow His way? It's simple - He's our creator. He knows what's best for us. No other advice can match His wisdom. God wants us to learn from His words in the Bible and holy books. When we listen and follow His guidance, we make better choices.

God asks us to be willing to listen. He wants us to learn from His teachings. They're written down for us in the Bible. These aren't just old words - they're a guide for living well today.

Think about it like this: God made us, so He knows exactly what we need. He sees the whole picture. That's why His counsel is always the best path forward.

Divine Guidance and Spiritual Support

God gives us something special that money can't buy. No job can match the fulfillment we get from following His words. He has a perfect plan for all of us.

When hard times come, God doesn't leave us alone. He sends help in two ways:

  • Through His Holy Spirit
  • Through our guardian angels

When you lose your job they're there to make sure that you're not too depressed... they make sure that you have all the things that you need in order to get through life.

These heavenly helpers stay with us through all our troubles. When we lose our job, they keep us from getting too down. When money is tight, they make sure we have what we need. They help us get through every challenge.

God's support system works even when Satan attacks us. His words and His helpers give us strength that no earthly thing can match. This spiritual support keeps us going when times are tough.

Think about it - God's plan includes everything we need. He knows life can be hard. That's why He set up this perfect system of help and care for us. With His guidance, we're never alone in our struggles.

Discerning the Source: Recognizing God's and Satan's Thoughts

Let me share how you can tell the difference between thoughts from God and thoughts from Satan. This is really important to understand.

God and The Honorable Angels do not force their will... when Satan comes and gives you thoughts that's going to cause you calamity... they'll give you a thought right behind it to let you know that this is some of the things that can happen.

Here's the key thing: God and His angels never force you. They don't flood your mind with demands. They don't pressure you to do things their way. Instead, they work differently.

When Satan puts a harmful thought in your mind - one that might cause trouble right away or later - God's angels respond with a gentle warning. They give you a helpful thought right after to guide you.

Let me give you a simple example:

Say you're driving too fast on the road. You might get a sudden thought to slow down. That's God's angels looking out for you! At this point, you have a choice:

  • You can listen to that helpful thought and slow down
  • Or you can ignore it and keep speeding

Here's something I've noticed: If we've been listening to Satan's thoughts a lot, we tend to ignore these good thoughts more often. It becomes a habit to reject God's guidance.

This is why learning to spot the difference between these thoughts matters so much. God's thoughts guide us gently, while Satan's thoughts push us toward trouble.

Breaking Free: Exercising Forgiveness and Mercy

Want to break free from Satan's hold on your life? I'll tell you how. It's simpler than you might think.

The key is to make some basic changes in how you live. Here's what you need to do:

  • Show forgiveness to others
  • Practice mercy when you can
  • Stop lying or being dishonest
  • Let go of rage and anger

These steps might seem small, but they're powerful. They help you break free from negative forces.

Once you start doing some of those things what happens is is that Satan must release you because now what's going to happen is divinely The Honorable Angel and God's thoughts is going to come in and start taking place in your life.

Here's the amazing thing - when you make these changes, Satan has to let you go. It's like a spiritual law. When you choose good actions, you open the door for God's thoughts to come in.

When this happens, God's messages become clearer to you. You'll find yourself:

  • Listening more to good thoughts
  • Making better choices
  • Feeling more connected to God

The best part? God's thoughts will have more weight in your mind. You'll hear them better. You'll follow them more often. This is exactly what we all need in our daily lives.

Remember, breaking free starts with simple choices. Choose forgiveness over anger. Pick mercy over revenge. Be honest instead of lying. These small steps lead to big changes in your spiritual life.

The Ongoing Spiritual Struggle and Addiction

Let's talk about something that affects many of us - the hidden battle with thoughts that can lead to addiction. This is really important to understand.

At any given time a demon or Satan themselves, being that we can't see them, can come and give us a thought that has us doing things that we believe oh it's not going to be that harmful but yet as we walk in it we see that it can.

Here's what happens: Even though we can't see them, Satan and demons can put thoughts in our minds. These thoughts might seem harmless at first. We might think, "Oh, this won't hurt." But as we follow these thoughts, they can lead us down a harmful path.

This explains why:

  • Addiction can last so long
  • People keep drinking alcohol even when it hurts them
  • Some folks stay homeless for years
  • Others remain stuck in lazy habits

The tricky part is that Satan works in ways we can't see. But here's the good news - once we learn how these negative forces work, we can fight back better. We can help ourselves break free.

What's the key to breaking free? It's simple - we need to:

  • Learn to show mercy
  • Understand how these harmful thoughts work
  • Spot the difference between good and bad thoughts
  • Take action when we notice harmful patterns

Remember, knowing how Satan works is half the battle. When we understand his tricks, we can make better choices. We can stop these small, seemingly harmless thoughts from growing into big problems in our lives.

Letting Go and Trusting Divine Timing

Let me share something important about working with God. It's simpler than you might think.

Here's the beautiful truth - God just asks us to be willing to listen. That's all! When we do this, something amazing happens. God and His angels take over the hard work. They handle the tough job of dealing with Satan and demons for us.

What's our part in all this? Just two simple things:

  • Stay willing to learn
  • Keep listening for guidance

God wants us to start small, doing what feels right for us. He suggests we:

  • Show mercy when we can
  • Share kindness where we feel comfortable
  • Let go of anger at our own pace

God is the only one who knows what type of seeds that has grown within you individually so he is the one who can clearly show you the way or give your food at the proper time.

This is so important - God knows exactly what's growing in your heart. He understands your personal journey. That's why He gives each person guidance at just the right time. He knows when you're ready for each step.

Think of it like this: God's way is gentle. He doesn't rush you. He knows your speed. He gives you what you need when you can handle it. This makes the journey easier and more natural.

Remember, you don't have to change everything at once. Take small steps. Move at your own pace. God understands, and He'll guide you perfectly along the way.

Building Up, Not Tearing Down: The Mission of God's Followers

Let me share something powerful about our mission as God's followers. It's all about building people up, not tearing them down.

We are for building up not tearing down because that's what we do. We know for a fact that everyone is being torn down by Satan by the will of Satan and also because you have a demon that's attached to you that is looking to tear you down every day all day.

Here's what we know for sure:

  • Satan tries to tear everyone down
  • Each person faces daily spiritual attacks
  • Demons work to bring people down all day, every day

But here's the good news! God has a better way. He tells us His load is light and His yoke is kind. This means following God shouldn't feel heavy or hard.

When you walk with God, you join a team that builds people up. This includes:

  • True prophets
  • God's faithful followers
  • All who walk in God's way

God makes us a simple promise. If we just stay willing to listen, He will:

  • Take the heavy weight off us
  • Handle Satan for us
  • Make our spiritual journey easier

Remember, God knows Satan is strong. That's why He steps in to help us. He doesn't want us to fight these battles alone. He just asks us to stay open to His guidance. When we do that, He handles the rest.

Conclusion: Embracing Spiritual Discernment for a Fulfilling Life

Let me wrap up our talk with some key points about spiritual discernment. This knowledge can help us live better lives.

To learn the difference of how they give us these thoughts, it will help us in our own personal journey of leading a better more fulfilling life.

Remember what we learned in The Lord's Prayer - we ask God to "deliver me from the will of the wicked one." This is so important to understand. Here's why:

  • We can't just push Satan away on our own
  • He's here until God's Judgment Day
  • He tries to cause hardship in everyone's life

Satan loves to cause trouble. He celebrates when people:

  • Hurt each other
  • Show hate
  • Do violent things
  • Cause pain to others

But here's the good news - we don't face this alone. God helps us when we:

  • Stay willing to learn
  • Listen to His guidance
  • Follow His teachings
  • Show mercy to others

By learning to spot the difference between God's thoughts and Satan's thoughts, we can make better choices. This helps us live the good life God wants for us.

Remember, this journey isn't about fighting Satan alone. It's about letting God guide us. When we do this, we find more peace, more joy, and more fulfillment in life.

Thank you for joining me in this important discussion. May God bless you and guide you on your path to spiritual wisdom.
